Sixth Annual World Grenache Competition to be held April 12-14, 2018

Created by the CIVR in 2013 as the first-ever competition dedicated exclusively to the Grenache grape, the sixth edition of the Concours Grenaches du Monde will be held in the Terra Alta appellation south of Catalonia (Spain) from April 12th to 14th 2018. Over 800 different Grenache-based wines, from France, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Australia, Canada, Macedonia, Lebanon and Greece will be featured. Two morning sessions (4/13 and 4/14), reserved for trade only, will see 100-odd international experts from around the world taste and evaluate every single wine sample. In addition, there will be cellar visits, technical conferences and round tables.
