Earlier this year, we invited a group of carefully curated U.S. journalist to explore our beautiful region from the comfort of their own homes. Due to travel restrictions and safety concerns in the times of COVI-19, the journalists were able to learn about Wines of Roussillon virtually without taking out their passports. The press trip included daily 45 minute virtual meetings throughout three days with wine producers and personalities. The journalists got to taste a diversity of wines and terroirs while discussing themes such as the specificities and purposes of Roussillon cooperatives, the dynamic evolution of Roussillon viticulture, and Roussillon unique heritage based on old vines. The journalists were excited to learn more about the region and the winemakers were excited to share more information about their pride and joy, Wines of Roussillon.
