Saint Bacchus 2013 – Results Revealed!
The results of the prestigious 2013 Saint Bacchus contest were announced on Friday, June 7 at the “Palais des Expositions” in Perpignan.
After traveling the globe for the past 6 years and stopping in Paris last year, this prestigious competition made its way back home to Roussillon. A blind tasting by the “Maîtres Tasteurs” of Roussillon was done on Saturday, June 1 at the Clos des Lys in Perpignan to establish the annual Saint-Bacchus selection. The Grand Jury then chose the wines to be awarded. This is the first year that the results were kept secret until Friday, June 7. The announcement was made the night of Saint-Bacchus that 21 appellations out of 128 were awarded!
