US bloggers gather for a Wines of Roussillon virtual tasting

On April 5th, major US bloggers gathered for an exceptional Wines of Roussillon online tasting lead by Somm Caleb Ganzer. “Here comes an unheralded region to titillate your palate in brand new ways”, warns Snooth.com
Caleb took the bloggers on a virtual trip to the Sunniest Region of France through the tasting of 6 wines – both dry and sweet – from the iconic appellations of the Roussillon:
  • Côtes du Roussillon : M. Chapoutier, Bila Haut, Côtes du Roussillon Blanc 2014
  • Côtes du Roussillon Villages Tautavel : Gérard Bertrand, Tautavel Grand Terroir 2011
  • Côtes du Roussillon Les Aspres : Chateau Planères, La Romanie 2013
  • Maury Sec : Domaine Cabirau, Serge et Nicolas 2013
  • Banyuls : Domaine La Tour Vieille, Banyuls Rimage 2014
  • Muscat de Rivesaltes, Domaine Cazes, Muscat de Rivesaltes 2011
The quality and great value of the wines delighted the bloggers. Check their live reactions on twitter and their articles on the region:
